French composers such as Debussy, Ravel, Paul Dukas, Russians of the modern school, and a representative choice of British works of the new renaissance, will bring Adelaide up to date. Mr Brewster-Jones will also give an “ANZAC suite” and a “Nightingale suite” from his own pen. The symphony orchestra will be used for the performance of grand opera, which Mr Brewster-Jones is organizing. An advertisement announces that there are still a few vacancies in both the symphony orchestra and the operatic class.
