Yesterday was the hottest Christmas on record in Adelaide, the thermometer registerd107 degs. in the shade. The usual services were held, and the Sunday School Union had a gathering in the Town Hall.
The Messiah was sung upon the Adelaide Oval in the evening by the Musical Association. 5,000 persons were present.
