Clarinets - 1930s

Bill Robertson was the Principal clarinetist and Harold Chadwick was second.  Bill was getting on in years when I knew him and had lost a couple of front teeth so had to play his instrument out of the side of his mouth.  Harold Chadwick’s claim to fame is that he was my clarinet teacher!  Both men played Simple system instruments but that had no bearing on their musicianship.
